Hello everyone! Last week I received just the breeze of fresh air that one needs. Pack Publishing is preparing a video course about JBoss Application Server 7 and they have contacted me to review it.
First of all I want to thank Pack Publishing for contacting me and for offering me this opportunity. It comes just in the perfect moment, not only to refresh the mind, but also because in August I am going to give again the lecture about JBoss AS 7 in the second edition of the CGI Enterprise Masterclass that we are giving to bring our new junior consultants from the university to the professional level. The course title will be “JBoss Application Server 7, Configuration, deployment and administration”. Curiously I had bought Pack Publishing’s book of the same title by Francesco Marchioni at the beginning of the year, I purchased it to broad and structure my knowledge about the JBoss AS. I take this opportunity to recommend you the book, it was by far the best on the topic, and I also tell you that I won’t get anything for recommending it to you, Pack Publishing didn’t even know that I had bought it before.
I have already started this review project and received the first section of the course. I have already committed the first revision and I am looking forward for the next one! It feels great to have all that contents in a similar way as the if the user was in a remote conference with the author. I will try to help them giving my humble opinion to add value to the course.
